System Hacker / 2022

This brief asked us to select a system to ‘hack’ (i.e. disrupt, edit, destroy etc.). I chose the  system of playing cards and played with the format of cards, as well as the revelation of hidden cards.

I experimented with cutting and layering each aspect of the cards, by subverting the placement. I also learnt how to emboss the forms of the suits onto the cards itself.
